Programme launched with IAT

New Programme Launched with Institute of Accounting Technicians

We have the great pleasure in announcing the newly established collaboration between Pine Academy and the Institute of Accounting Technicians (IAT) in February 2010. This collaboration made it possible, for the first time, for students in East Malaysia to become Certified Accounting Technicians (CIAT) within 4-8 months, which in turn will make them eligible to register as IAT and CAT members.

The IAT is a not-for-profit professional body for accounting technicians recognised by the federal government of Canada. It helps individual develop their skills and provides tools and resources to facilitate career development and contributes to enhancing the efficiency of the broader economic environment.

This prestigious CIAT qualification will also earn students an entry requirement to proceed to the final year of BA (Hons) in International Accounting via Distance Learning with the University of Northampton, UK.
